Job Duties:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for internal and external program and project planning; program oversight; performance monitoring and evaluation; technical assistance and training. The incumbent is the recognized policy expert for the program. Duties include planning, analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, problem identification and resolution, preparation of management reports and recommendations for corrective actions, and overall policy guidance, interpretation and clarification.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation law and Vocational Rehabilitation practice. Knowledge of related disability legislation. Knowledge of training methods and techniques, including preparing training materials. Ability to interpret federal and state law and policy. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to prepare oral and written arguments based upon law and policy, present information in an understandable fashion, influence others and present arguments, and oversee the work of a team. Skill in interpreting data for implications related to policy.

Salary: This classification is in pay range/schedule 7-03. Pay upon transfer or reinstatement is based on the compensation rules applicable to the transaction. A 6 month probationary period may be required.
