The Department of Transportation (DOT) is currently recruiting to fill an Employment Relations Specialist vacancy within its Bureau of Human Resource Services. This position is located in Madison, Wisconsin at the Hill Farms State Office Building (4802 Sheboygan Avenue) conveniently located near shopping, dining, and several bus routes.

Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Human Resource Services, participate as a member of the investigative unit conducting investigations into complex/sensitive work rule violations on a department-wide basis. This position will also provide professional level expertise on all labor relations- issues. In this capacity, this position will be responsible for the development and interpretation of Department of Transportation policies related to labor relations, hearing and responding to grievances, and providing training as assigned. This position will advise management on how to address challenging HR issues, including such things performance and attendance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
